I have generated ODT file with table and cells shading (fo:background-color
attribute). When export to DOC is done, and opened in Word there is no
background color on cells (Word 2003). When same DOC file is opened with OO
Writer color is there.

I don't see how can i submit example file?

Similar problem is with table width in RTF, but that is another issue.

P.s. We generate are own ODF files and converts it using OOo.
P.s2. Same file converted from Calc to Excel (ods to xls) works good.

@hbrinkm: standing for MRU on vacation... Sorry if it's a dup I didn't find! :)
The attached document contains a table with cell backgrounds (saved in 3.0.1)
Cells backgrounds are displayed correctly in Word
Save document in 3.1
-> Cells backgrounds don't display in Word

I'm suprised for this quick response, all the best for you :-)

Attached DOC file opens good in Writer but bad in Word 2003.

I don't think that we will roll back to 3.0.1 for now, it is not such a big
issue, as we are still migrating from RTF to ODF generating.

Becouse this is so connected i submit a RTF file generated from same ODF,
background is good, but table width not.

P.s. In my maner i write another issue :-) It is so wrong not to show reloaded
document when saved in other format. You need to close and reopen, just to see
how that format looks.

The following use case bug might be related:

1. Create a formatted table in calc (as in test.ods), 
2. copy the table
3. open writer
4. Paste special > Formatted text (RTF) in writer. The table is pasted without
cell background.
5. Paste special > HTML in writer. The table is pasted with cell background
