I'm against this enhancement because duplication in GUI is bad. Displaying the same information more than once is wasteful and confusing. This duplication has existed before the 4.x. You had a list and a window to show the paragraph style. |
Created attachment 81491 [details] Mockup Before with the toolbar Formatting, we have a listbox to see the paragraph style. Very useful when you manage outline numbering. Now with the sidebar, we must go to the Styles and formatting deck to see this. That will be better to have this information directly in Properties deck. A listbox could be integrated in the Paragraph panel (see attached mockup).
