I can Reproduce the problem on
OpenOffice 1.1 RC4(default Install, US), Win XP Pro Sp1.
(And MS Office XP Sp2).
It is real problem

But this is powerpoint/impress file, not excel file. yes the small
number is wrongly displayed in OOo

I can reproduce the bug.
The different is in an Equation.
Please have a look.

SJ->CGU: You were able to reproduce this bug. My problem is, that I
don't see the bug, please describe exactly where your problem happens,
is it with the two MathOLE objects on the right. Or is something in
the text objects wrong, probably a single character is mistaken, if
this is the fact I need to know if you are having all document fonts
installed on your system.

And please change the title to something more meaningful.

The problem is with the two MathOLE objects on the right.
I hope the last attachment turn to be clarifying.

I changed the font to Thorndale and the bug still occures.
Here are 2 bugs:

- the overlaping of the characters -> This is a known bug which will
be fixed soon. as workaround select 'Use printer metrics for document
formating' in 'Tools/Options/Presentation/General/Compability'

- the second bug is a wrong fontsize of the '001' and the '1001' after
the import of the Equation. This wrong font size seems to be
independent from the font.

sj->thb: can you please take over this issue, seems to be a linux font/metafile
problem, thanks.
