When you select all the text in a text box, and then type (in order to replace
it), Impress crashes.

I can't reproduce the bug.

Please specify what your platform is. (I see you selected "Other" when filing
the issue.)

This sounds like a known internal bug which is fixed in m139.
Please have a look if the bug still occures  in OOo 2.0.1
