Matthias, please make an UX decision on this. Hi Kai, from my point of view it is ok to disable the buttons. But... The real question is how do I get out of the preview mode? Why do I have to double click the sample? Why does a single click not simple change the mode back to where I came from? (It has do listen to the mouse up event -- drag&drop need to remain possible) If this can be changed then we do not need the discussion on the 2 view mode buttons. -Matthias Maybe it would be even more logical with another button? - "Preview" That way the user clearly sees what the options are, and what currently is active. Would like a real target for this issue... Reassigning this issue. I would very much like to see the buttons still active when being in "Preview"-mode. I would also like to see a "Preview"-button next to them. That way all three possible views are clearly indicated. The user both sees the options, and the currently active view. I am no longer officially active on OOo. Please take over. |
