File failed when opened with Calc after added a new sheet none

Description ramanal 2007-03-27 08:54:15 UTC
The file attached formerly is an Excel file. Then converted to .ods with 2 sheet
at that time.
After a while, the file added with new sheet (the 3rd sheet), and it still ok.
Yesterday added a new sheet again (the 4th), then the file can not be opened
anymore.

Each sheet has some block of data/tables and each sheet has it's own chart (column).

Confirming with 2.2m11 - Office hungs trying to open attached file.
Upping priority because of crash/hung.

Any chance for 2.2.1 (as we are having problem with our native format)?

Hi ramanal,

please could you tell me how the fourth sheet has made it into the file ? Could
you reproduce it from source ? If so, please describe step by step how to
reproduce it.

And the file contains about 80 OLE Objects (Charts) on 4 sheets not 4 charts
each on one sheet.

Hi Bjoern,

the problem is that the file can't be opened by the old chart but the new one can.

I removed the last sheet from the content.xml and the resulting file opens just
fine, removed the first three sheets from content.xml and the resulting file
opens just fine too. So I opened the file with the three sheets too and copied
the the sheet from the other file into this one. The resulting file opens fine
with the old chart.

Please have a look at this one.

Seems to be fixed in recent versions (checked with SRC680.m240).
->FST: Did I understand your last comment correctly: everything is fine?
If so, please close this issue.

ok,

I close this Issue as OOo2.3.1 did not crash on opening the attached bugdoc. As
it seems only the old Chart was affected I recommend using the latest version of
OOo which currently is OOo2.3.1.
