Description Uwe Altmann 2007-07-24 07:31:20 UTC
Loading a document (25 pages, some Graphics; the "OOo Mac miniHowTo") needs as
twice the time as in X11 Version
(Testing OOo_SRC680_m221_MacOSXIntel_AQUA_install_de.dmg)

Issue confirmed. Same problem with document including equations
Comment 2 sparcmoz 2007-07-24 10:09:12 UTC
Something like this affects Calc documents too. It seems to be treating them
like an imported format, taking ages to go through each stage - loading,
calculate, adjust row height, and maybe other things? Just a wild thought -
could be the progress bar makes it run slower ;)

hdu, I remember you did something in this area. can you confirm that document
loading speed is acceptable now ? if so, please close this issue.

Yes, issue 82882 which was fixed in CWS aquavcl04 (got into >=OOH680m2 and >=SRC680m243)
improves performance significantly here.
