When I start typing text on a new line, all the blanks that I enter are shown, i.e. the cursor advances with 
each press of the space bar

Somewhere after the middle of the line, this normal behaviour changes and blanks are no longer displayed 
while typing them. See attachment for some examples of this bug

This behaviour does not occur in NeoOffice 2.2.3.

I think this issue is for hdu, and is imho fixed in the code I'm testing ( including aquavcl08)

Resassigned to macport, waiting for confirmation  + setting keyword

Yes, issue 89789 with the same root cause got fixed in CWS aquavcl08.
