od->mst: Please take over this issue for OOo 3.4 it looks like the fix for this consists of 2 parts: 1. the ODF import should ignore style:num-suffix on numbering styles of type bullet if the file was written by a buggy OOo version. 2. numbering styles of type bullet that are created in OOo should not have prefix/suffix. (since apparently the UI does not allow editing it) then we have another problem: the ODF 1.2 cd05 part 1 says in 19.505 style:num-suffix: "The style:num-suffix attribute can also specify a character after the value of a text:bullet-char attribute." so a prefix/suffix on a bullet numbering style is explicitly allowed. OOo should be able to display a prefix/suffix in this case. @od: do you agree that that is a separate issue, not necessarily to be fixed for OOo 3.4? if you don't have an issue for it, someone should file one :) the following places could create a bullet list with suffix: - the writer autoformat (type "* foo ENTER") - the Bullets On/Off button in the toolbar - the Bullets tab of the Numbering/Bullets dialog - the Outline tab of the Numbering/Bullets dialog surprisingly the Options tab of the Numbering/Bullets dialog seems to do it right fixed in CWS sw34bf03 http://hg.services.openoffice.org/hg/cws/sw34bf03/rev/e1acd21d8e6b @od: is the odf_validation keyword appropriate here? the produced file is valid by the schema, but still wrong (it violates the intent)... As the definition for keyword odf_validation talked about non-conformed documents this keyword is not appropriate here. please verify Verified in CWS sw34bf03. |
