Here I see the effect that "Ooo 3.0.0 (DE) Multilingual version German UI WIN
XP: [OOO300m9 (Build9358)]" needs more than 45 seconds to close an unmodified
WRITER document via network. Close with 2.3 via net or with 3.0 on own HDD works
immediately. 
This behaviour is 100% reproducible for some big WRITER documents with lots of
text and images. This problem cause big trouble for inexperienced users, because
WIN shows a message "OOo does not react, close" when they become impatient and
click into the document, and then they close instead of waiting.

Unfortunately my documents can not be attached easily (confidential contents),
and no document I tried to create to reproduce the bug shows the problem. I'll
go on trying.

Might be related to Issue 71999, I'll try to confirm or excludes soon.
