I have a Calc document which has password protected cells/sheets and saved as
ods. If I open it normally in OpenOffice and try to remove the sheet protection,
I'm asked for the password. However, if I take the very same document and open
it, then store it as XLS and open this Excel-document in OpenOffice, I can
remove the sheet protection without being asked for the password!

NOT Reproducible with "Ooo 3.1.1 WIN XP DE-multilingual version German UI
activated [OOO310m19 (Build 9420)]"!

XP: [OOO320m2 (Build 9432)]"!

What is your result with my "probaplyunprotected.xls" from "demokit.zip",
protected or not protected?
Please attach a similar test kit!

I'm sorry, I did not read carefully enough. I CAN reproduce the problem, and
this one is a DUP of Issue 60305

Agreed, this is a duplicate of 60305. Hope somebody will work on fixing this bug
soon.
