Description Nathan Stretch 2012-09-26 11:14:32 UTC
If several Openoffice windows are open, and a CSV file is opened independently, ie, through windows explorer, one of the Openoffice windows - apparently at random, but I assume there's some pattern to it - shows a text import box, but does not take focus, nor does its taskbar button blink to show an event. As a result, one must click through each window (assuming they are overlapping) to find the one with the Text Import box, to finish opening the CSV file.

Instead, the Text Import box shown when opening a completely separate, new file, should not be tied to any particular pre-existing openoffice window, but should rather be opened and focused independently in response to user action (opening the file). At the least, if it must be arbitrarily tied to an existing instance, that instance should be brought to the foreground so the user doesn't have to go hunting.
