self created file as described in scenario 2
Reproducible. Reassigned. I just download the OO v2.02 today and test above issue (Powerpoint 2000 SP3 is used in this test). For scenario 1, 1. I open a powerpoint file (with traditional chinese character) with Impress; 2. Goto tool-> lanaguage-> chinese translation->"trad chinese to simpl. chinese" without click the common term, press ok. 3. It perform the conversion. However, a few problems are found: a. the font for the simplified chinese are not consistent (2 different fonts are found in the chinese character); b. Regardless of whether you manually change the fonts to one or not, you save the result file as PPT and open in powerpoint again, you will notice the simplified chinese characters in 2 different fonts, with some of the character in itatic also. I am not sure whether it is the conversion problem or not. I also try to copy and paste this trad. chinese character from problem.odp to new PPT file, save it and perform the step in above scenario and the result is similar. Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org". |
