crashes on my machine(WinXP) too, error report SO8 ID rr9gt8 I just tested with Win 2000 & OO 1.1.5 combination, did not work either. Excel 97 opens the file ok. Confirming issue. The crash occurs when Calc is calculating the contents of the file The file opens fine in Gnumeric, and the vector drawing objects can be individually manipulated. Alex Not a Prio 1 task as the Application itself works as defined for other files Hmmm, I don't recall setting the priority to P1, but hey, nobody's perfect ;-) P3 is for bugs that cause a crash only in special circumstances. What is so special about a group of drawing objects in a spreadsheet. IMHO, this should be a P2. - Crashes in basic functionality, i.e. the import of the file - Basic functionality is not working correctly, because you can't open the file alex Hi Daniel, your's ? Frank Already fixed in OOo 2.0.1 with reimplementation of drawing layer import (issue 47246). Reason for the crash: OLE object and connectors embedded in grouped objects. back to QA re-open issue and reassign to fst@openoffice.org reassign to fst@openoffice.org reset resolution to FIXED Now that's what I call efficient ;-)) Good work, people !! alex Hi, checked with internal m137 and found fixed.
