In all previous crashes the crash recovery tool failed to run. This reported crash was the one where I induced the rainbow pinwheel mouse icon (is that the new bomb?). This time the crash recover tool ran, and we submitted the bug report with "Bug associated with issue 97956" inside the descriptive text. I just noticed that bug 99654 did have a comment box, which I didn't see. The bug tool I use at work has "comment on this issue" in the left menu and at the bottom of the page. I looked in both those places, didn't see anything, and decided the issue had turned to stone, the way they do for closed issues in my issue tracker at work. Most likely the same root cause as issue 93756. Please check with an OOo3.0.1 release candidate (e.g. OOO300_m15). duplicate *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 93756 *** closing For Mac OS X Intel, rc1 is 404 on the mirror this morning, but I did manage to get m37. If we see this problem again, I'll certainly report back. Please do so, m37 should contain the fix. As far as I know OOo now sends the containsMouse selector only to windows that support it. If there is another instance of this left I' like to know. |
