Description majukr05 2009-05-17 16:35:25 UTC
[DEV300m48 - Writer / WinXP]

AutoSpellcheck and AutoGrammarcheck: the wavy marking lines are white,
no more red and blue (so they are invisible and seem to be lost).

It seems to be the same defect (regression) as described in
Issue 98169 (DEV300m39 - fixed in CWS vcl99).
Comment 1 majukr05 2009-05-17 16:37:41 UTC
Set keyword 'regression'

What does say:
 "Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org - Appearance - AutoSpellcheck"?

"Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org - Appearance - AutoSpellcheck" ->
Color setting: Automatic
Preview: a red box
There's no difference with the text document when I'm changing the color settings.

AutoSpellcheck is working well in Calc, Impress or Draw -
even in notes (Writer).

tl->sba: please have a look to verify if that issue that was fixed in vcl99 got
somehow reintroduced. Thanks!
Comment 7 stefan.baltzer 2009-05-18 11:02:39 UTC
SBA: Confirmed in DEV300_m48. Set keyword regression.
Spell check (should be red) and grammar check underlines (should be blue) are
all painted in white. To see:
 - Have a document with errors and auto spell check enabled (I also tried DE
Duden Grammar check extension)
 - Format - Page - Background -> select a colour, OK
-> Now the underlines are visible (all in white).
Context proposals on these words work.
SBA->TL: Please find out how this got re-introduced, thx.
Comment 8 thomas.lange 2009-05-18 11:23:17 UTC
TL->OS: seems to be a merge problem when os127 got rebased to m43.
Basically everything should be fine if you take the fntcache.cxx from m47 and
remove the function SwRVPMarker::Mark function and the respective include
statement once more. Please take over. Thanks!
Comment 9 thomas.lange 2009-05-18 11:26:34 UTC
TL->SBA: To be sure that everything is fine you need to check that
- the red auto-spell markings work again
- the blue auto-grammar check markings work again
- the smart-tag markings work again
- the overline feature is not broken

Not sure what CWS os130a applies to, but can confirm issue in DEV300_m51,
released today (5th July). Running XP. Occurs on clean install, also when using
older user profile.

Showstopper for me - have reverted to older build.
Comment 19 thomas.lange 2009-07-06 15:06:33 UTC
CWS os130a (where this issue was fixed) is not yet integrated into that code
line. Thus of course the problem is still present in the developer builds.
Comment 20 majukr05 2009-07-10 23:01:14 UTC
[OOo-dev 3.2.0 DEV300m52 Build 9411 – Writer / WinXP]
[CWS os130a integrated]

That's working fine now here –
- the red auto-spell markings work again
- the blue auto-grammar check markings work again
- the overline feature is not broken
Comment 21 stefan.baltzer 2009-07-13 08:29:18 UTC
sba-> majukr05: Thanks for re-verifying this in DEV300_m52.
Closing issue.
