Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 102013
Type:Sheet vs. Type:Table in Select Data Soure in DataPilot
Last modified: 2013-01-29 21:41:12 UTC
There seems be wrong term in Data - DataPilot - Start - Data Source registered in OpenOffice.org (in Select Source dialog) - Type: Sheet (in Select Data Source dialog). For exampe, when you select 'Bibliography' in Database box, 'biblio' in Data source box, there is selection 'Sheet' but not 'Table' in Type box. In Help it says: [hd_id3147428]Type [par_id3150010]Click the source type of for the selected data source. You can choose from four source types: "Table", "Query" and "SQL" or SQL (Native). I think in this case Help text is correct and UI wrong. At least there is difference which need to be correct?
I checked with "Ooo 3.1.0 WIN XP multilingual version English UI activated [OOO310m11 (Build 9399)]" and can confirm the reported inconsistence, and I also believe that Help is correct and UI is wrong. "Ooo Dev 3.2.0 multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [DEV300m49 (Build 9403)]" is not affected, always "Tabelle" is used. "Ooo 3.1.0 WIN XP multilingual version French UI activated [OOO310m11 (Build 9399)]" shows the same inconsistence "Table" <-> "Feuille" "Ooo 3.1.0 WIN XP multilingual version Spanish UI activated [OOO310m11 (Build 9399)]" unexpectedly does not show any inconsistence, always "Tabla" is used (Although "Sheet" is called "Hoja" in Spanish).
