Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 102104
Several forms at same place
Last modified: 2013-01-29 21:41:53 UTC
In a spreadsheet imported from MS Excel format, certain check boxes will be unchecked as a side effect when saving the document. The problem persists after saving the document in .ods (Open Document) format, closing the document and reloading from the .odf file. Steps to reproduce: 1) Load document (will attach this ASAP to this report) with default security settings. 2) In the rows that have the text "try to check box „3“ or „4“", check those boxes. 3) Save the document. 4) Observe the state of the check boxes checked in 2). On my PC, those are unchecked at this point. 5) Load the saved document. On my PC, the check boxes are unchecked after save and reload. Expected behavior: Saving the document should NOT change the status of the check boxes. Instead, the current state of the check boxes should be saved to disk and after reloading the document, they should stll be checked.

You can see that there are 2 checkboxes at the same place: 1. open "defective.ods" 2. use menu 'View -> Toolbars -> Form Design', 3. switch 'Design Mode' on, 4. click a checkbox (for example No. 3 in row 19) and drag it to an other place expected: check box at new place, old place empty actual: check box at new place, old place still some check box No. 3 I am absolutely sure that I already left a comment in an issue just for this EXCEL import problem, but currently I can not find that issue. Who can help?
