Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 105576
'Delete Row' / 'Delete Column' function inactive if only 1/each remained
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:08:19 UTC
Configuration: Windows XP Professional SP3, 2GB RAM OO 3.2.0 DEV300m60 (Build: 9425) 1. Create an empty presentation in OO. 2. Insert a table (insert-> table) in the presentation. 3. Create the table with single row. 4. Delete Row option in the table dialogue is greyed out. Expected behaviour is to enable that option even a single row is present. Microsoft PowerPoint and OO Writer provides that option and table itself is deleted which is expected.
I checked with "Ooo Dev 3.2.0 multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [DEV300m60 (Build 9425)]" and can confirm the reported effect. You can not delete the table by deleting the last column or last row, Icon in toolbar is greyed out, function in context menu is no longer available for last one. That's at least inconsistent, because that function works for text tables.
For sake of completeness: If you select all columns or rows, you can delete the table using 'delete column' or 'delete row'. But cells must be selected.
