Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 106493
Enable printing of front/back pages also when not printing a brochure
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:33:12 UTC
See issue 106426: customers would like to have the opportunity to print only front or back sides for manual duplexing, akin to writer's behavior of only printing even/odd pages. With the changes for the new print UI in CWS printerpullpages, then the "Include" ListBox which currently enables front/back for brochure printing should not be dependent on "Brochure" anymore and wander into its own subgroup in the dialog.
When this feature will be enabled for draw and impress, the way it should work has to be discussed. If the user sets a N-up layout of 1row/2columns then a duplex printer produces an output of document page 1 and 2 on front of the sheet of paper and document page 3 and 4 on the back of the sheet of paper. Such output should be possible with only front / only back setting for manually duplex printing too. Currently, in writer, the output is document page 1 and 3 on front of paper sheet.
