Chart in edit mode, not show data series when edit existing report To see it: - Open file attached to issue: 106736 - Open report to edit "Empty_with_bar_chart" - Double click on Chart to enter edit mode - Select any element in chart, the chart area will be empty no data series shown. (If you open "Empty_mod" report you will see all data point in 0,0 position) If you run report chart fully shown in report. New reports with charts, works as expected, but if you close report, and open back the symptoms same.
I tested more opened one file (created earlier versions) with all chart types, Bubble chart and columns and lines type chart showing this issue. In this phase I can edit lines only chart without problem. After closing and opening same file, I can not edit lines only chart, missing lines. The file nearly 3MB, I'm not attach here, I can send it if needed.
confirming, assigning, targeting
adding "regression" keyword, and raising target to 3.3. This bug did not happen in OOo 3.1.1. fs->oj: We're late in the 3.2 game, but ... given that this is a regression, please evaluate whether it is reasonably (and risk-less enough) to fix this for 3.2. Thanks.
@iha: You told me something about that the preview gets vanished. Could this be the problem here as well?
@oj: I remember a problem with a missing update of the metafile replacement image. But within chart edit mode no metafile replacement is used. If the chart data is not visible within charts edit mode this indicates a more serious problem.
