Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 107892
Missing text in presentation mode
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:11:19 UTC
In presentation created by some (unknown) Microsoft Office version text is visible in editing mode (Normal, Notes, Slide sorter) but it's missing in presentation mode (slide show). There are no transitions/animations associated with that text. Saving file as an ODF presentation doesn't help. I will attach samples. Both Linux and Windows versions of OOo Impress 3.1.1 are affected (not an X11 issue). Microsoft Office 2007 displays that file just fine.
Created attachment 66806 [details] MS Office presentation with missing text
Created attachment 66807 [details] Also ODF version created from such PPT file is affected
The picture on the master page is shown in front of the slide objects, when the slide is in presentation mode. This error occurs already in OOo2.4.3. To correct the view, switch to the master and sent the picture to back.
Ah. Then could this issue be related to #54563 (Z-Order of custom shapes with interactions are wrong in running presentation.)? Still it's annoying as it was easier to find laptop with MS-Office than figure out why I don't see text in presenation mode.
Reproducible. Reassigned.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
