1,file > new > database.
2,database wizard is open.
3,Click "Next".
4,check to "create tables using the table wizard"
5,Click "Finish".
6,save new database file.
7,following message will open.
  "The connection to the data source could not esablished."
8,Wizard doesn't start.

*JRE is  already installed.

@ parpy - Tired to duplicate this problem under Ubuntu 9.1 / OOO320_RC1 (m8) can 
not do so. I am using an HSQl embedded database. Is your problem with a different 
database driver?

I can confirm it on Linux.

Table wizard not starts when selected, in database wizard.
File saves without problems, table wizard not starts, error msg same.
If I start table wizard from Table pane, it starts, and works. 

Possible show stopper.

Changed summary.
It is with built-in HSQLDB.
It is on opensuse 10.3 32 bit version (i586).

Yes I can confirm it 

The error message comes only directly after creating a new database file.

If you click on the ok button it works as espected.
