Description jametait 2010-02-17 14:52:54 UTC
I can no longer print "Mail Merge" documents since installing v. 3.2 (Using Mac "Snow Leopard")

If one reverts to v. 3.1.1 and works through <File><Wizards><Address Data Source...> one arrives at a
box, which, under "Steps 1. Address book type" offers:

Please select the type of your external address book:
O Mac OS X address book
O Other external data source
...this first option being the one I originally chose when I set up my "Mail Merge" back under v 3.1.1

However... when one embarks on that same journey with v. 3.2 one finds only something like:

Please select the type of your external address book:
O Other external data source
... and choosing this [sole!] option leads to the dreaded "No SDBC driver was found".

MRU->MSC: ever heard of such an error message?
Comment 2 marc.neumann 2010-02-23 07:58:36 UTC
- confirm
- set target
- change component to database
- send to the right developer
Comment 3 marc.neumann 2010-02-23 08:00:42 UTC
@oj: I can reproduce this. Also the creation of a Mac address book via FILE /
NEW / DATABASE is not possible.

In OOO 3.1.1 this works. So I set the target to 3.2.1.

I don't believe this is the same issue as Issue 111059, unlike the description
in this bug there IS a choice to create a database using Mac OSX address book,
but that leads to a request for the URL.
