Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 112337
crash with right-click on layout object edit border
Last modified: 2010-08-17 12:21:32 UTC
Testing "OOo-dev 3.3 300m82(Build:9510)" on Fedora Linux 13 Steps to reproduce: 1) File > New > Presentation > Create (all defaults) 2) Click in any layout object to edit text: text cursor appears and the layout object gets a thick, hatched border with no handles. Hover over the border and mouse cursor changes to hand (move cursor). 3) Right-click on the border... crash with segfault.
Reproducible. Reassigned.

Really fixed in m84 ? In issue 112864, marked as duplicate of this one, I reported a crash which occurs in m83 *and* m84. Kind regards. JBF
This is fixed in CWS impress192 but it is not integrated yet.
Oops, I think I spoke too soon. I still see the crash in m84 as well, so it looks like the same bug. It does seem maybe less likely to crash; m83 crashed with any right-click on the border. M84 seems to only crash with the right click when the border is hatched but has no handles. It happens on any such border on a layout object, not specific to JBF's bugdoc. Or, maybe nothing was changed from m83 to m84 and I'm just imagining a difference. ;-) Thanks for your patience--sorry to waste your time over a bad report.

sorry there seems to be a problem with this cws, I just reported it so it should be integrated soon. A clone of this issue is already fixed in the latest OOO330 build.
