Description Mostafa Rezaei 2011-11-24 04:23:30 UTC
When I try to open my database it gives filter selection menu and asks me to choose which type of file it is. when I try to open it using ODF Database it says general error. And it shows a blank Form. When I try TABLES it says the connection could not be established. This database is very important for me and it is related to my work. please let me know how I can fix it.

The database damaged, I could not repair it.

No solution for you, only if you have a backup copy.

For work, use Base connected to the external server.

This happened for me when I was sorting a query using filters. I used two "not including" filters with no problem. I added a third "not including" filter and the database crashed instantly. Cannot open the database or import data to a new database. Clicking on the database opens a Filter Selection pop-up box but no choice works.

When I try to open the file, it opens it in Open Office Writer with the following string "HSQLLOCK###3ӿ".

Obsolete hyperlink to document

If a database is important, you should set up a backup policy.
