Description ck542 2012-05-12 04:14:50 UTC
I worked on my file for hour and hours yesterday and it was "autosaving" every 15 mins and I manually saved as well. after I reopened the file this morning it had not saved and was back to its original state before hours of editing. How can I recover all my work that should have been saved. HELP!! This document is very important.

Open OpenOffice.org (not Writer, the full soffice application) and on the start screen that shows the different applications, check the pull-down next to the "Open..." item.

With luck, your copies were going to a different place than the original. Check the recent documents that are shown in that list and see if one of them opens with all the work you had done.

This is one known problem, it doesn't nothing with auto-saving, instead, by code check, should be something realted with savin process. May analyse saving process and make it more reasonable is one solution.

This one should b 341 release blocker

More information resp. data is needed.
