Description dcjohan 2003-03-06 23:44:40 UTC
Using OOo1.0.2. This is logged on the Presentation section but applies equally
to the Draw section, and perhaps to all the rest as well.

The options for printing are truly limited, and very poor in Draw and Impress.
As far back as 1986, WP offered the ability to print front to back or back to
front; odd, even, or (default) all pages; the ability to state EXACTLY which
pages were desired such as 12 - meaning starting at 12 and going to the end; 1-6
meaning print only pages 1,2,3,4,5,and 6; 1,3,7,11,20 meaning print only those
pages; and any combination of these instruction in the print pages box. 1-12
with odd checked would allow for printing just the odd pages, then you cound
flip the paper and check even instead of odd and print those pages on the back
of the first 6. This capabality is NOT available in Draw or Impress, and this
combination of choices is NOT available at all in the suite. It would be OH SO
NICE to have this decade old capability available in OpenOffice. (This is also
the default in Adobe Acrobat).

Thanks,

dave johanson

Lowering Issue priority...

From: http://qa.openoffice.org/scdocs/ddIssues_EnterModify.html#priority
P2 - Marks severe problems which affect a significant number of customers.
Issues with this priority must be fixed before the target release ... and should
be dealt with as soon as possible. Not fixing them for the target release is not
acceptable.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
