OS X Crash while checking update

How to reproduce:
Launch AOO 4.0.0, close Welcome window, open Preferences -> Online updates, click to Check now.

Actual Results:
Crash, log included.

Expected Results:
No crash.

Additional Information:
It seems to be a Mac OS X specific bug.
Occured on all Mac OS X versions.

consulting Herbert who has several AOO and OOo versions installed helps me to reproduce the defect.
First, I would to mention that by 'Welcome window' the window showing the Start Center in meant.

Herbert and myself reproduced this defect with OOo 3.3.0, AOO 3.4.1 and AOO 4.0.0 --> adjusting field Version accordingly.
