I cannot open the attached document in OO 4.0, but I can open it in 3.0.

ASCII Filter Options dialog and then Gibberish in Rev. 1503704 Debian.

Opens OK in abiword 2.9.2

reproduced with AOO 4.0.0, but not with AOO 3.4.1

@John Blegen:
Has the given Microsoft Word document been created by Pages on MacOS or iPad?
If yes, then this issue might be a duplicate of bug 122935

output of BFF validator on given Microsoft Word document reveals the same as for the document attached to bug 122935

investigation reveals that it is a duplicate of bug 122935
