When writing on a group of combined cells it appears a strange black column, as shown at the attachment image.

Comment 4 Rafael Hernández 2019-01-03 19:59:11 UTC
I don't talk about the outline. I talk about that inner line appearing in the combined cell. This doesn't happen in other cells.
Comment 5 Keith N. McKenna 2019-01-03 20:20:38 UTC
There is no inner line in the spreadsheet. If it cannot be replicated there is nothing to fix.

I can reproduce this "inner line" with your Calc document.
Tested with AOO 4.1.6 on Ubuntu 16.04 and Windows 7 and AOO 4.2.0 on Windows 10.

The line appears, when the word is selected with a double click. The position of the line depends on the length of the word.

I have reopened your bug report, because I have found a way of reproducing your issue: Double click in either the single cell (eg. A1) or the merged cells (eg. A1 to E10) where you want enter the text and the wide black bar appears.

Workaround: Only single click where you want to enter the text.

Sorry Keith, I kind'a stumbled onto this by accident with AOO 4.1.6 and cannot hazard a guess why double clicking makes the band appear.
Comment 8 Dave Barton 2019-01-03 21:05:21 UTC
Further checks suggest that the issue only applies to double clicking in cell A1 or merged cells originating from cell A1. Double clicking in any other cells does not display the band.

Matthias, Keith can you check if what I am seeing is correct?

Confirmed with version 4.1.12
Reproducible also by pressing the F2 key.
