Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 14358
Window title is spelled using ViaVoice
Last modified: 2004-03-30 11:42:19 UTC
Speech driver ViaVoice reports titlebar e.g. "Untitled1" in a spelling manner (U-n-t-i-t-l-e-d-1). This should be changed by adding a space between the string and the number, like "Untitled 1".
I don't now who is in charge for this.Malte could you please take care on this issue? Thanks.
MT->CJ: RU wanted you to specify that the default name for a new doc should become "Untitled 1" instead of "Untitled1", because reading with ViaVoise is strange without the blank, and we think there is no reason for not having the blank. But I don't think that you will make such changes only for this reason in 1.1, so feel free to re-target to 2.0
I agree, this is a task for OO.o 2.0.
Changed to OO.o 2.0, and we should change the name to 'Untitled 1'.
MT->MBA: IMHO default name comes from SFX...
.
@AS: as I said in another issue concerning window titles: this should be handled by fwk
AS->FT: Please take care (in your new caption bar spec) that all items can be used for accessibility too. The file name itself cant be adapted to any natural speaking form automaticly. So the user itself has to make it right. And further we have to define the behaviour for non saved documents. Should they be named "[ICON] Untitled 1 - %PRODUCTNAME <module>"? How they are counted? One counter for every module - or one counter for all modules? BTW: May you can take over the informations from this task to your PCD task #i20125# and close this one as duplicate. THX.
FT: Issues added to "Future Tasks" section of spec http://specs.openoffice.org/appwide/module_name_in_caption_bar/module_name_in_caption_bar.sxw Closed.
