Description ru 2003-06-27 15:52:35 UTC
If SO is running on an accessible GNOME simultaneously with Gnome Onscreen
Keyboard (GOK), main window of SO does not get the focus back when a dialog is
closed.

RU -> PL: Can you please have a look into this. To reproduce: Start SO; Start
GOK; Open any dialog and close it again. The main window of SO gets not the
focus back. In that state no application on the desktop has the focus. Thanks.

I had a look into this; we do not do anything to put the focus back to
the document, this is the job of the window manager. GOK seems to
interfere with this; how exactly it does this i do not know. The one
thing i noticed is that the gtk applications seem to favor another
input focus model than we do (they set the WM_TAKE_FOCUS protocol on
their windows).

I talked to obr and he also thinks that this probably must be fixed
either by gok or metacity.

I close this bug. I logged a bug against Metacity accordingly in
Bugzilla (#117474).
