Storing of a template can require HandsOff state

The descryption from Tamar@openoffice.org " Steps: 1) Create a new text document. 2) File | Templates | Save and assign it a name. 3) Close it. 4) File | Templates | Edit and choose the newly created template. 5) File | Templates | Save and choose the same name. 6) When the overwrite dialog appears, choose Yes Observed: Error writing <filename> as template. General Error. General input/output error. Expected: No error. " The problem is that template document was not set to HandsOff state before storing to original location.

Duplicated with OOo 1.1 RC on Windows 2000. Confirming.
Doing as described, currently results in an added name1.ott ...
Changing the target.
Tested this again in 2.3.1 and 2.4-dev (OOH680_m6) As said: - open 'MyTemplate' - choose File|Template|Save - select 'MyTemplate' > OK > Replace OK results in bóth 'MyTemplate' and 'MyTemplate1' on the file system. Only in 2.3.1 - start new blanc document - choose File|Template|Save - select 'MyTemplate' > OK > Replace OK results in bóth 'MyTemplate' and 'MyTemplate1' on the file system. In 2.4-dev this last scenarion only results in 'MyTemplate1'. More comprehensive description and screenshots in issue 68233 (Tue Feb 5 2008)
