Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 16941
Import of form text fields and REF
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:41:36 UTC
Field reference not working
Created attachment 7736 [details] Form text fields and REF
I can Reproduce the problem on OpenOffice 1.1 RC5(default Install, US), Win XP Pro Sp1. (And MS Office XP Sp2). It is real problem on MS Word, I can type the text in the form, and when press tab, all text below changed to the same text in the form when I open the file in OOo, I cannot input the text in currency form.
reassigend to mru can you please take a look on this issue? set target to OOo later
MRU->CMC: The bookmark is spun across the formfield. This is not recognized by the filter. Thus the reference fields could not show the correct result.
grrrr.... forgot to re-assign
accepted
cmc->bh: Theres no real way to do this properly for 2.0. I think that StarMath would really have to have a concept of styles to make the import and export of this work properly.
wrong bug, disregard last comment
In the doc format this is laid out something like this... TAB: <form field begin>FORMFIELD<form field result><bookmark begin>EUR<bookmark end><form field end> So we process it by TAB: seeing form field begin and inserting our formfield and then seeing the bookmark and inserting it, ending up with sort of... TAB: <form field><bookmark> this is because word has seperated their fields into fields and results, while writer has no such seperation, so the bookmark doesn't have any "results" to span anymore. In this case we can workaround the problem by detecting that bookmarks are being placed in a position which would be inside a field in word and setting their start position to include the writer field in which they are considered to be embedded in word, to give TAB: <bookmark begin><form field><bookmark end>, which will give the correct behaviour. So this is implemented in workspace tuamfilterteam23 for 2.0
reopen to reassign to QA
cmc->mru: ok in tuamfilterteam23 for 2.0
Looks good in CWS tuamfilterteam23.
Verified. Fix will be integrated in OO 2.0.
Checked integration with 680m32.
