Closed because problem not reproducible and submitter does not give further information.
Sorry, I was a little overloaded and so I lost sight of this issue. Steps to reproduce teh problem: 1. open attached file "mergecells.sxc" 2. mouseclick on column header A to mark complete column "A" 3. <CNTRL> + mouseclick on column header B to mark additionally complete column "B" 4. Menu: Format - MergeCells - Define Window with question "should the contents ..." appears 4. click "Yes" expected: cells or marked column area will be merged actual: system crash (can only restart with poweroff-poweron) I know, this handling of "merge cell" migt not be that what developers might hav thougt when they created this function, but "a program should never crash". Rainer
My actual OOo: 1.1RC3 German version WIN98SE: 645m15(Build8669) [CWS:ooo11rc3] Rainer
