Bitte issues, die das Programm selbst betreffen auf englisch verfassen
und dem jeweiligen Projekt zuweisen. Das de-Projekt kümmert sich
hauptsächlich um die Website, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und externe
Dokumentation (Dokus die nicht mit OOo mitgeliefert werden) - Danke.
Das Problem betrifft nicht nur Querverweise, sondern Feldbefehle algemein.

Confirming issue.
Steps to reproduce:
0) Open a new textdocument and make sure that typographic quotes are
activated in Tools|AutoCorrekt/AutoFormat-> Custom quotes
1) Insert a field (date, crossreference or other)
2) try to surroung the field with typographic quotes

When placing the cursor before the field, the opening quotes get
inserted as expected, but when trying to insert the closing quotes
after the field, OOo inserts opening quotes again.

Try the same with a regular word to see the expected behaviour.

(Easy workaround: Either type the quotes before inserting the field or
insert the quotes twice after the field and delete the disturbing
opening quote -> P5)

ES->OS: I think we won't be able to fix it (before a long time).
Fields are not recognized as text (see also the problem of spell
checking in fields -> impossible!). So the auto correction ignores them.

Would it be possible to surround fields with "zero-width" (invisible) characters
to work around this problem?

...or change the auto-quote algorithm to insert a right double-quote if an
(unclosed) left double-quote character has already been inserted?
