Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 20095
No border around a picture after import from MS Word
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:41:36 UTC
The attached Word document contains 2 pictures with a shadow style border. The border is visible without shadow in OOo 1.0.3. The border is not visible at all in OOo 1.1 RC5. Note that the shadow style is set in OOo (shadow is selected if you open the Graphics dialog box) but the shadow is not visible. The border line with is 1/2 pt in Word but 0.05 pt in OOo (shouldn't this be 0.5 pt?). (Conversion10.zip)
Created attachment 9671 [details] Word document with an example of the problem (ZIP).
I can Reproduce the problem on OpenOffice 1.1 RC5(default Install, US), Win XP Pro Sp1. (And MS Office XP Sp2). It is real problem there is border in the outside of the image which is not visible ib OOo
reassigend to mru can you please take a look at this issue? set target to OOo later
MRU->CMC: Shadow has been set for the pictures in this doc, which means that also a border is present in WW. So the import should also map to a border/shadow combination in this case.
Yeah, I can do that. There are old style and new style borders. The new style borders are set to none, while the old styles ones are active. So I assume that we can set the old styles borders if they exist, and override them with the new style ones if those exist.
reopen to reassign
cmc->mru: Ok with kilkennyfilterteam14
Looks good in CWS kilkennyfilterteam14.
Verified. Fix will be included in OO 2.0.
