Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 24642
Licence dialog prevents SO from beeing accessible
Last modified: 2004-08-10 16:02:52 UTC
Licence dialog that comes up at initial startup of SO leads to an error in loading the Java Access bridge. Thus SO is not accessible. At subsequent starts bridge is loaded correctly and SO is accessible.
I found bug in version 680, so target must be OOo2.0 of course.
my issue
In console where SO is started following output is thrown: Java Accessibility Bridge for GNOME loaded. Registering Application. org.GNOME.Accessibility._ApplicationStub:IOR:000000000000002249444c3a4163636573736962696c6974792f4170706c69636174696f6e3a312e3000000000000001000000000000006c000102000000000d31302e31362e36342e3130390000820000000021afabcb0000000020528a8cad00000001000000000000000000000004000000000a0000000000000100000001000000200000000000010001000000020501000100010020000101090000000100010100 Java Application:0 Just registered Application Error occurred during initialization of VM Unable to load native library: libjvm.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory JavaVM: JNI_CreateJavaVM called _exit, caught by abort_handler in javavm.cxx
As discussed, this seems to be a general problem with the users individual java setup and will be addressed with the new java setup mechanism...
.
jl->ru: The Java configuration has been completely rebuild since m41. Could you please check if this still is an issue?
I tested with m49. Bridge is loaded at initial statup.
