The offending document, when exported to word format, is not openable with MS 
Word (2002) on Windows XP. It has been openable under the same conditions and 
with the same software in the past. Unfortunately, about a million things have 
changed within the document since then, so I've been unable to narrow down 
what the offending graphics or text might be. Additionally, I have several 
documents of the same format that work perfectly. 

I will attach two documents - one that works and one that doesn't (and will 
name them something obvious).

I apologize if this is a duplicate - I saw a similar bug in your issue list 
but it was basically marked "not a bug" (INVALID) with no comment as to why.

Hello Christine,

unfortunately i could not reproduce your issue with OpenOffice.Org 1.1.2RC on a
Win98 SE system opening the created *.doc Document with MS Word 2000 9.0.3821
SR1 German Version (both documents work fine here).

For narrowing down your problem I would suggest checking that your MS Office
software has all of the recent updates installed.

If this does not help, you may also consider downloading the 1.1.2RC version
from OpenOffice.Org at http://download.openoffice.org/1.1.2rc/index.html to
test, if your issue has been fixed with this build.
1.1.2RC is a release candidate and therefore not officially announced for
production work, but it really might be worth a try.

I can reproduce the bugs. 
after saving it to doc, I try to open it with word xp. but it take very looong 
time on requesting anti virus forever. I use NAV 2003 pro. 
win xp, OOo 1.1.1. MS office xp.

Yes, can see the problem. Will work with OO 2.0. Checked with current snapshot
build. In the past we had similar issues; this was fixed together with them.

Closed. Fix can be checked with snapshot build 680m34 or newer.
