Description gyaroslav 2004-05-09 10:46:12 UTC
Custom quotes via add caption dialog don't work. If we insert quote in caption
it will not be autocorrected. Autocorrection doesn't check such quotes.

confirming.
As a workaround you can confirm the caption dialog before entering the text and
then add your caption.
Or you can use AutoFormat: Make sure that "replace standard quotes by
typographic quotes" is checked in Tools|AutoCorrect/AutoFormat -> Options for
post-editing (don't know how the menu is called in english version) and then
runn Format|AutoFormat -> Apply.

Autocorrect stuff...
Comment 3 stefan.baltzer 2004-05-11 18:00:37 UTC
SBA: This is an enhancement: The custom quote replacement only takes place when
typing in the document and not in any dialog, not even if this dialoges "passes
on" some text to the document (like Captions, Footnote characters, Index names,
. This is the current implementation. -> Type changed.
Reassigned to Bettina.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
