Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 29061
MS PowerPoint animated bullets failure
Last modified: 2018-02-03 18:12:33 UTC
The presentation linked at http://www.cs.bu.edu/~hwxi/Xanadu/Xanadu.ppt has blank pages where the bullets should appear in animation (during the slide show). It works fine under MS PowerPoint of course. -Mark
Created attachment 15182 [details] Animated bullets in PowerPoint slide show
Not a bug but a UI difference between MS PowerPoint and Impress. In MS PowerPoint the left/right arrow keys advance the animated bullets. In Impress arrows advance to the next slide, so you must use space bar to animate the bullets. Personally I would change this issue to a UI feature change request to match PowerPoint as closely as possible; but feel free to close the issue out. Maybe there should be some sort of "smart tip" indicator to tell the user to press space bar?
Reassigned to Christian.
Please have a look on this feature.
