mo mail merge possible using database-beamer

It is no longer possible to use the database beamer to create a mail merge document. To reproduce 0) Open a new document, open the database beamer (press <F4>) 1) Choose the bibliography database and open the table. 2) Drag the Author field into the document -> field is inserted as expected. Notice that data to fields/text is missing form the default configuration of the toolbar. 3) Add the above mentioned buttons to the toolbar using the "Visible buttons" contextmenu -> all the buttons are disabled and non-functional.

It's ok again with the next version 680m59.
The icons are not visible by default but can be added over Visible buttons.
Is there any specific reason why these (very useful) buttons are not part of the default toolbar? It is not the case that the toolbar is overloaded with buttons. I'd like to see these buttons by default. Any user familiar with OOo 1.x and mail merge will miss these.
