Description heiko_folkerts 2004-10-30 11:02:32 UTC
When running the Wordprocessor with Jaws v5.1.0 (assistive technology) the font
of the typed in text cannot be read by Jaws. The java accessibility-Team has
classified to be a possible problem in oo.
Steps:
1. if necessary start jaws
2. Start Text document from the open office submenu
3. Type some text
4. Place the cursor on the text
5. Ask Jaws for the used Font information using insert+f
Jaws responds in saying "Font info is 0point"
Expected behaviour: correctly announced Font size and attributes such as bold
etc.

I have seen that there was no entry to this issue since the beginning of November ... :( Have you tried a newer version
of OOo like 1.1.3, 1.1.4rc, 1.1.4 or some 1.9.xx builds? Does this problem occur there also?
Comment 3 thackert 2005-02-06 10:22:32 UTC
I have not gotten any answer to my question since January 1rst, so I close this
issue as invalid. If this problem also occur in newer versions of OOo you could
reopen it again ... ;)

Reopening; let's have an accessibility person look at this, please.
Adding keyword "accessibility".

Can you tell me how to find this font function in JAWS? Where is it mapped to Ins+F.

Please don't reopen issues that have been closed because of lack of information
unless YOU can provide this information.
Thank you!
