Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 37070
can't set "Filter" or "Sort" in sample form
Last modified: 2006-05-31 14:29:06 UTC
- follow the instructions in issue 37067 to have a database document which connects to a MySQL database. (I'm not sure whether this bug here works with other databases/forms, too. It probably does) - open the database document - open the contained form ("Interprets") for editing (Edit|Edit) - mark one of the above controls, and chose "Form..." in its context menu => the form property browser opens - on the tab page "Data", press the browse button behind either "Filter" or "Sort", trying to open the respective dialogs this way => assertion: "OPropertyBrowserController::executeFilterOrSortDialog: caught an exception!" => no dialog is opened
This is a regression compared to .. uh, don't know, it used to work some versions ago.
This is a regression of issue 30220. Other places where the very same bug (most probably) manifests, and which need to be verified afterwards: - sort dialog in forms - filter/sort dialog in the bibliography component
and also the filter/sort dialogs called from the navigation bar form control are probably affected
fixed in CWS dba20

re-opening for verification by QA
fs->msc: please verify in CWS dba20. Please also run any automated (or manual :) tests you have which deal with filtering/sorting a form or RowSet, since there was some change in the underlying code for this ... Please also verify that the other areas mentioned above still work: filters/orders in the Bibliography component, in the data source browser, in alive forms, triggered from the toolbar or a navigation bar control. Thanks a lot :)
Hi, verified in cws dba20 Bye Marc
