Description christoph.lukasiak 2002-04-10 15:43:08 UTC
1. open a calc document and create a small table
2. open the database beamer (with F4) with any data source
3. mark the created table and d&d it on the table container
(Copy table dialog appears)
4. check: Attach data, insert any valid table name and push: Next
(Assign columns dialog appears)

-> the usuability is confusing and ugly (as i agree with FS) and should be
improved

CLU: my suggestion is to change the dialog in something similar to the relation
design dialog (this dialog has nearby the similar function and solves it smart)

sorry, i forgot to pointed out my position:

- the relationship of the source table and the destination table is
unclear
- the handling of the position arrow buttons is confusing
- by using the position arrows, the previous settings can be destroyed
- using a lot of fields make the settings very uncomfortable (every
desired change can cause an undesired one)

adding "needhelp" keyword - perhaps external developers do want to
have a look at this?

The issue is targeted to "OOo Later", which means nobody plans to work on it in
the forseable future.
