Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 40219
Many shortcuts lost in Writer/Web Code view + not possible to define shortcuts
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:41:36 UTC
Linux only!! - Open an HTML document - swich view to HTML source -> many shortcuts don't work. the combinaison Ctrl+<letter> simply outputs the letter in the editor. Here is a list of the broken shortcuts: Ctrl+A Select All Ctrl+F Find Ctrl+J Full screen Ctrl+N New Ctrl+O Open Ctrl+P Print Ctrl+Q Quit Ctrl+S Save Ctrl+W Close Ctrl+Y Redo Note broken since at least src680m64 As it is not possible to define shortcuts in this view (also broken) there is no work around. Because those basic shortcuts are indispensable for easy editing I set prio to P2. Please tell me if I should filr another issue for the impossibility to define shortcuts
.
AS->OS: This happens only on linux .. and especialy inside the html-source view of the writer/web module only. Further it's possible to overwrite shortcuts for all applications (including the writer/web if it use not the source view). => May be this source view implementation intercept "CTRL+<letter>" hardly and does not forward it to the underlying shortcut handler ?!
Fixed in cws os49 in svtools/source/edit/texteng.cxx
