Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 42469
Thai input sequence checking is broken
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:00:08 UTC
The problem is reported in #issue42171#, invalid input sequence (0e01+0e48+0e35) is not catched.
Test case :- 1) Set Toos/Options/Language Setting/Languages/CTL to Thai 2) Enable Language Setting/CTL/Use sequence checking, and Restricted 3) Create a blank Writer document 4) Switch the keyboard to Thai 5) type ก ('kor kai' on the d key) 6) Type ่ ('mai ek' on the j key) 7) Type ี ('sera ii' on the u key). Sequence input checking should not allow this but it's entered into the document. However, you may not see the character on Windows. See issue 42171. 8) Type backspace until the 'kor kai' is deleted. It'll take three backspaces. It takes 2 backspaces to delete 'mai ek', because the 'sera ii' is allowed to enter the document, which is wrong. The sequence input checking should stop this.
