Description alonsoac 2005-03-07 05:31:11 UTC
The attached document is opened just fine, one can save to xls or export to PDF
fine too. When I try to save as sxc or OpenDocument it seems to be saving it but
then just crashes, and application restarts. There is no loss of information
just can't save changes.

Hi,

changed Prio to 2 as this is a crash.

Targeted to 2.0.1 as 1.1.4 doesn't crash on saving.

When opening the document copy-analysis2.sxc, I noticed two hidden worksheets.
These worksheets contained fixed data (not equations) in cells, but they were in
odd parts of the sheets. The sheets were also named with a path to documents
that obviously don't exist on my machine, so I was wondering if they are
pointing to external data sources.
When I delete BOTH sheets, I can save as .sxc or .ods extensions.
I have tried renaming the sheets, but this doesn't affect the crash.

One curious point - how did the user get the file into .sxc format in the first
place if he/she is unable to save it?
Comment 7 alonsoac 2005-03-27 07:13:57 UTC
ok I forgot to mention that I have no problem with the document in version 1.1.3
Originally it was an xls file imported into version 1.1.3.
I don't know what you mean by "hidden sheets".
Comment 8 alonsoac 2005-03-27 07:56:30 UTC
I see what you mean by hidden sheets, those are linked files, I don't have them
myself. I removed the links and it still crashes.

I have found out that the problem is on rows 40 to 45 on the Presen sheet. If i
delete all that then it saves ok. I tried to determine what cell was the
problem, deleting them almost one by one but I couldn't.
Comment 9 juglugs 2005-03-27 17:00:48 UTC
OK, Two mutually exclusive operations fix this problem:

1. Delete (all) Cells G41:S41 in the sheet "Presen"

or

2. Delete the two hidden sheets (sheets 4 & 5)

I do not see any data or formulae within cells G41 thru S41 in the "Presen" sheet.
