Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 45140
value/date search problem in KO language
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:00:01 UTC
In TCM test case 109273, try to 1. Open a spreadsheet or create a Calc document containing native language characters, decimal data and dates in localized format 2. Choose Edit->Find & Replace. 3. Enter some decimal value/date in the Search for textbox 4. Expand the More options, Search in Formulas/Values Yet, not all the the value/date exists in the document are highlighted. 날짜 서식에 의해 변한부분은 화면에 보이는 부분으로 검색하면 검색이 되지 않습니 다. (%나 다른 서식은 잘 검색이 됩니다.)
FT: Can you please be so kind to add the sample document where the described issue occures? Thank you very much.
.
when you use serch form, other auto format (ex: %) serch complete. but when you use serch with date, it can't find it. because differents between screen and system. ex) screen : 2005년 3월 1일, system : 2005/3/1
This is l10n function problem, and is translated into English. Transfer it to default owner.
Hi Karl, I do not know, if you are the correct owner for this task. If not, please send back to the default owner ft. Thx
This is a l10n issue, but rather an user expectation or design issue. I don't know how MS office does, I have not checked it yet. For duplication, type 2/2/2 in a cell and set format code as 'MMM' for English locale, you will see 'Feb' in the cell, when you search 'Feb', you will not find it, since internal presentation is 2/2/2, a date value. Send to FT.
Hi Falko, as this is not a defect, I put this issue as an enhancement on office later.
